Socialist ideology should have died in 1945 beside the body of the most evil villain of the 20th century.
The evil villain was Adolf Hitler. He was a deeply devoted socialist. In every way, shape and form, in every word and every action, Hitler was a socialist.

You don’t know Hitler was a socialist — which is why Zohran Kwame Mamdani, a socialist who touts Hitler’s platform of government-run economy and dead Jews, is favored today to become New York City’s next mayor.
Hitler, from his politcal activation of 1920 to his death in 1945, preached hard-line, big-governement socialism.
His economic platform was “fundamentally similar to Russian Communism,” Time Magazine wrote of its Man of Year in 1938.
Americans knew Hitler was a socialist at least through the 1950s.
You don’t know Hitler was a socialist because, since at least the 1960s, academia, education and media have lied to you about Hitler, his far-left, big-government platform and his aptly named National Socialist German Workers’ Party.
They call it the Nazi Party, removing the overtly leftist references to socialism, labor and anti-capitalism.
